Shipping and Returns

SHIPPING POLICY

Shipping costs are calculated in the cart. If you are wanting to buy two boxes and ship them to two different locations, you will have to process them separately in two different cart transactions. 

STANDARD SHIPPING

Free for all orders over $150 for standard shipping 

$10 per gift box for standard shipping up to $100

Express Shipping

$15 extra per small gift box for express shipping

$19 extra per large gift box for express shipping

All parcels are shipped via Australia post. After you have submitted your order, you should receive a confirmation email and then another email with your parcel tracking once it has been shipped.

Your order will be packaged and shipped the next business day if your order is placed before 8pm. Shipping times will vary depending on where you live. All parcels will be dispatched from Australia Post Port Douglas QLD 4877 branch.

Please note we do not deliver to PO Boxes.

Please also note that Express Post does NOT guarantee overnight shipment but could speed up delivery.

Local pick-up and delivery is available 7 days a week for those in the Port Douglas and surrounding areas. Please contact me prior to selecting this option to ensure that we are not out exploring the FNQ and can accomodate the day you wish to pick up your gift box. Just drop me an email on gifts@saltandsun.com.au and I will endeavour to accomodate your request.

Please note that the below times are only estimates. Australia post will not provide accurate estimates. All parcel services experience delays. Particularly in pandemic times. Please plan ahead. ​

Standard Shipping 4 -10 business days​

Express Shipping 1-4 business days

NOTE: Christmas period & during active COVID times may cause delays to shipping. We also ask for your understanding should our couriers have issues due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances that may hold them up. For this reason, we make no promises on delivery times but have outlined 'normal' delivery times as above, as a guide.

PRODUCT RETURNS/DAMAGED or LOST in TRANSIT

Please choose your gift carefully as we do not offer returns on change of minds.

We will pack your gift for shipping conditions, but please note that as soon as we post your parcel with Australia post and email you your tracking number, we are no longer liable for the safe delivery or tracking of your item. 

Should your gift arrive to the destination damaged please contact me within 48hrs of delivery so we can discuss.

If your gift has not arrived in a timely manner, please contact me and I will see if I can give you any more information from my end.

Please note, we are not liable for the loss or damage of your parcel when we hand over your gift to Australia Post. But we will try our best to resolve any issue may have, just email me for any issues or concerns.
